What is your husband’s name? Kacey :-)

How long have you been married to him? 3 months, 17 days… it’s too much work to get anymore detailed

How long did you date? About a year… that’s pretty long for a Mormon couple!

How "young" is he? He is 22 and he looks it I guess... but somedays I could swear he's no older than five... I LOVE it when that happens <3

Who is taller? He is! By a lot! I can wear absolutely ANY shoes I want!

Who can sing the best? Hm… well he won’t sing around me

Who is smarter? Well… I’m pretty sure his IQ would blow mine out of the water… but I’m more logical

Who does laundry? I do… that is his most dreaded chore

Who pays the bills? I do… they would all be late or unpaid if it weren’t for me

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? If you’re lying in it… then I do. If you’re looking at it… he does. He wishes it were the other way around… but I make him sleep between me and the door… :-)

Who mows the lawn? The maintenance people

Who cooks dinner? He does… but I try on my days off… besides we’re not together for dinner

Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? Neither of us do… we’re both pretty stubborn haha

Who kissed who first? He will say I kissed him… but I say it was his fault

Who wears the pants? I guess we both do… remember… STUBBORN! :-)

Late nights... alone...

Kacey works late nights... during the week I have to go to bed before he gets home and leave before he wakes up. But... on the weekends I stay up and wait for him to get home...

This was my project tonight... I put a bunch of my favorite wedding photos together in a video. I think it turned out pretty good!

OK... so we love our dogs

Ok... so I know we may be crazy, but we absolutly LOVE our dogs! Kacey found this toy for Ebony on clearance. Normally Eb is scared on toys with squeekers... but this one actually sounds like a duck! Therefore.... SHE LOVES IT!!!!!

Labor Day

I know its a little late to post what we did on labor day but I just found the camera... it has been hiding for a good 2-3 weeks... oops!

Anyway, on labor day Kacey and I decided that we were going to take advantage of having the same day off for once! So we got ready and hit to road to Glenwood Springs. We weren't going to spend the day in the city but rather hiking a trail just outside the city. This trail is called Hanging Lake with a little detour called Hole in the Rock. Here are our pictures from our adventure.

Can you imagine my excitement when this was at the beginning of the trail?

There were lots of little water falls on the way up this was the first one... its not nearly as pretty as the others but o well

Yes this is the trail... almost ALL of it was like this

This is us once we hit the 1 mile mark... I know 1 mile doesn't seem like all that much but it is when you also climb 1000 ft in elevation in that mile.... and we still had a quarter mile to go...

But it was deffinately worth it.... This is Hanging Lake with crystal clear water

And this is Hole in the Rock...

Literally a waterfall coming out of just a hole in the rock...

The Story Before the Journey

Since the whole family is getting in on this blogging thing I figured it would probably be a good idea to hop on the band wagon as well....

I thought it would be a good idea if I started with our journey to become the Livingstons with our engagement.

Kacey never formally purposed but he didn't really need to. We knew what we wanted and it was pretty much understood. But on one date he did actually pick a white daisy for me and say "will you marry me" while we were on a walk through the "big kid park." It was adorable. We took our engagement pictures in that same park.
