New-ish Hobby

I have recently discovered that I waste a lot of time because I really don't have too much to do when I get home. Usually I end up watching TV and frankly I'm getting really bored with my day to day life. So, I decided that I needed a hobby. I would really like to get into scrapbooking but I have no idea where to start nor do I have the money to get everything I need to get started. I figured that since I like looking at pictures and editting them, that I'd PhotoShop! I've played with PhotoShop for a long time but never did too much with it. I think it would be cool if I got good at it. Here are a few of my new experiments that I've found instructions for online.

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day has never been that big of a deal to me or Kacey. I've always liked a little something but nothing big and no redicuosly expensive gifts. So we decided that gifts weren't necessary, but I wanted to do a little something.

As always, Kacey had to work late but I know he is always hungry when he gets home. So I decided I wanted to make him a nice dinner and desert without him knowing. I decided I was going to make him fajitas. On my way home from the store I called Kacey at work to see how his day was going and he said he was craving spaghetti with meat balls. I was a little disappointed but decided that if that is what he wanted then that's what I would make him. Kacey and I both really enjoy strawberry shortcake so that's what I got for desert.

Semiversary Celebration

Feb 2nd was our semiversary. We were planning on going to dinner that night but decided that all the restaurants were about to close by the time Kacey got home. So we decided to go bowling instead! We played 3 games and I won 2 of them (Kacey will say those were just warm up games but he lost). When we got home this is what I had waiting for me

This may not seem like a big deal but Kacey has never bought me flowers before. I was REALLY excited!

The next night we went to Texas Roadhouse and ate a ridiculous amount of food but it was really good and we have left overs to eat later. :-)

SEMIVERSARY!!!!

Today is our SEMIVERSARY!!! That's right... Kacey and I have been married 6 months today! I know it may seem a little trivial to celebrate this kind of thing but we're pretty excited about it! Kacey had to work overtime tonight but he gets off at 9. We're going to have a late dinner together to celebrate! I swear it seems like yesterday when we walked out of the temple doors together...
